Privacy Policy

Chinese Family Services of Ontario places a high value on privacy both in person and online. This privacy policy sets out how Chinese Family Services of Ontario (CFSO) uses and protects any information that you give to CFSO. CFSO is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. The Information We Collect

Chinese Family Services of Ontario collects information by various methods including information actively provided by its providers, its clients, and information arising from donation, event registrations, entry forms and general feedback. The types of personal information we collect include name, contact information, identification information, credit information, and other types of data. Credit card information is used for billing purposes only.

How We Use This Information

This information is used to aid in the provision of our various programs and services, including client service, accounting, billing, and the marketing of other programs and services.

We will not sell, distribute or disclose your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen.

Chinese Family Services of Ontario may use aggregate or anonymous data provided by users for statistical or research purposes.

Who We Share This Information With

Chinese Family Services of Ontario does not share personal information with any third parties except as disclosed in this policy. CFSO may provide personal information to CFSO subcontractors and professional advisers (which shall be bound by privacy obligations) to assist CFSO uses disclosed herein.

Personal information is stored in a combination of paper and electronic files. They are protected by security measures appropriate to the nature of the information.

Accessing Information

Users may review or request a copy of their personal information contained in CFSO, for their files by contacting the CFSO Executive Director. If an individual believes that any of their personal information is inaccurate, we will make appropriate corrections.

Cookies are used by Chinese Family Services of Ontario for the convenience of our users. Cookies automatically authenticate the user.
